It was a great stay for my family and I. Being right on the beach was great. The only thing that occurred during our stay was the front door hinge became detached and the door couldn’t be closed one of the days we were there; however, the host responded quickly and had a repair person over that same morning to fix it with no issues there after. Definitely would recommend the place to anyone!

We have stayed in Carpinteria numerous times over the past few years (almost always with our dogs at other locations), and this is the first time we’ve stayed at here because we had to leave the pups at home! It’s the first time we were right on the beach and it was just beautiful stay. Clear instructions for check in and check out! Owners were very responsive. Walking distance to several coffee shops and many restaurants and boutiques. And of course, steps from the water. Sunrises and sunsets were magical from the patio and from Easy walks/runs along the boardwalk and bluffs trail. Would love to bring the puppies, but understandably, the unit is not pet friendly—likely to keep it as clean as possible.

We loved our stay at this condo. We enjoyed the amazing view each morning, easy access to everything in Carpinteria and access to the Amtrak. The kitchen was well stocked and they provided more paper products than most Airbnb (trash bags, toilet paper, paper towels, etc.). The beach toys and chairs were a great bonus. This place is lovely, in every way. We parked our car and didn't move it for 5 days. All is within walking distance. Besides being a prime location right on the beach, it is beautifully decorated with a fully stocked kitchen and linens, comfortable beds and furniture. The hosts are proactive and sent all the needed information prior to our arrival. When I had a question, my wait time for an answer was rarely beyond 15 minutes. I could look for another place, but why would I? We have stayed in this place multiple times and plan on returning.

We had an absolutely great stay at Carpinteria Shores 206! It is in a perfect location steps from the beach and the patio overlooking the beach was perfect. It’s a very quiet beach and wasn’t too busy, even on the weekend compared to other beaches in socal. There are a few little shops nearby and I walked to Lucky Llama for coffee every morning; it was the best! Spencer and team were very kind and responsive throughout the whole trip. The shower curtain was a bit dirty, but they replaced it which was very nice! Overall we had a great time, the airbnb was amazing and we will definitely be back! We fell in love with the airbnb and Carpinteria!

My family and I really enjoyed our stay in this little beach condo! Love, love, loved the beach-front views and access! We used to live in Santa Barbara prior to having kids, so to have the luxury to stay here with now having 2 kids is just absolutely amazing! Our 4-year old son loved playing out on the sand in the private beach front area, and he loved that the balcony had a storage that had toys for the sand. We all loved the sunset views out on the balcony and loved admiring the coast and people-watching. The place was small, but well-kept. More than enough room for 2 adults and 2 young kids. We appreciated that it accommodated for an infant: had a pack n play to lay our baby down in, a booster chair and a baby tub! The place was well-stocked with what you'd need and we loved the beachy themed decor. We also appreciated the tar removal pads provided! The master bed was SUPER comfy! One of the comfiest I'd ever slept on! Overall, our experience was great! Wish our stay was longer!

I hesitate to even write such a glowing review because I want this place to be available for us next time! From the second we walked in the door we knew we were in for a good week. Checking in couldn’t have been easier and the communication with the management team was seamless. The place is decorated beautifully but also kid friendly. I wasn’t worried that my toddler was going to break something or hurt herself. The beds were super comfortable, everyone got amazing sleep - it doesn’t hurt that the actual ocean is the background noise. The neighbors in the surrounding units (rentals too) were all so friendly and respectful, it felt like a community if only for a few days. We’ll definitely be coming back.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at this property, the property was furnished with the nice balance of comfort and looks. It was clean and the furniture was comfy as a home. The balcony is literally 12 feet from the sand and the ocean breeze goes all the way through the property when you crack the bedroom windows open keeping the interior so fresh and relaxing. We watched all the beach fireworks from the balcony on July 4th. The king size bed was very comfortable memory foam, i slept like a big o'l baby. We will assuredly stay here again.

Well, our grandchildren who were staying in the property below us were helping Ken and I with luggage, and when we opened the door they then decided to stray with us instead of with their parents......LOL It was beautifully BEACHY and after loosing our home to a fire, my pantry and laundry room became my happy place for sanity and hope with using the same colors as this home was decorated with. Everyone was super responsive and helpful. Special mention to Debra- mgr and Beto. Didn't even sleep in the bedroom, as it was just me most of the time. Slept on the comfy couch with the sound of crashing waves pulling me to sleep. Kitchen cabinets and counters are a bit dated, but mgr told me owners are updating it this winter. Would definitely Stay again!

We spent Labor Day weekend here, family of 4. The location is perfect! You can’t beat just being steps to the beach. The condo has everything you need and is updated, except the kitchen. Everyone we met there was super friendly and the town is a short walk to some great restaurants. Only downfall, is that we visited during a heat wave, upper 80’s to 90’s and the condo did get really hot. No AC and no fan in the living room. It cooled down a lot at night, but not enough to cool the condo. The addition of a fan in the living room would help move the cooler nighttime air. Other than this, we will visit again! This is our first time at this specific condo, but second yearly visit to Carpenteria Shores.

Carpinteria is a such a gem. We have been renting at Carp Shores since the 80s and we continue to return with me own kiddos and family 35 years later. This unit has been renovated and was well supplied with quality kitchen amenities. Kids bedroom was perfect and the space was streamlined and fresh. My only recommendation would be to remodel the kitchen in the near future and include an updated refrigerator. The filter water tap at the sink was also a plus. Thanks for a great stay!

Pulling up to the property it's not much to look at, seemed like a motel, so I was expecting the worst. Once you get inside, it's a pleasant surprise, the unobstructed views from the living room/dining room are amazing. There is direct access to the beach from the building. Quiet hours were always respected which was great because we have 2 infants who nap frequently and sleep early. They had a child booster seat and a pack n play with fitted bed sheets. When inside, you just hear waves crashing at night and there's no light pollution. The photos here are not up to date, the stove is new as are the couches. The unit has great new technology with lighting being operated with Hue, and smart TVs in each room. Bedding is also modern and crisp. Bathroom could use an update because the shower was very temperamental with hot water. Also the floors looked clean but after walking on them our feet were dirty (and yes i know it's on the beach but upon arrival all things were closed so it wouldn't have been coming from outside), it just appeared like the floors were not washed prior to our arrival. Overall the whole family enjoyed the stay, the ease of walking out the door onto the beach, and the local restaurants.

Fabulous Unit

First things first..... we'll DEFINITELY be back! The location couldn't be better, right on Carpinteria State beach. Opened the sliding glass door and listen to the ocean first thing in the morning and last thing at night. Almost impossible to not relax. Unit is not large, but there are multiple, modern upgrades. Plenty of outlets, well-stocked kitchen and cool lights. The only minor issue we had was when the water was shut off. Turns out they were doing some work on the shower in the adjacent unit, but no one let us know the water was going to be turned off. There was no on-site manager (the office was basically closed 3 of the 4 days we were there) and when I called the rental company, it took awhile for them to get back with an update. Meanwhile, I talked to the worker next door and he turned the water back on. Thirty minutes after that we got two calls saying that the water would be back on in about 30 minutes. I informed them it was already on -- they didn't know. Again, this is a GREAT unit.

Comfortable little place with an amazing ocean view. Bed was comfortable. Kitchen provided everything you could possibly need (minus the food) to cook or heat up leftovers. Even a huge crockpot. Keurig was a Godsend. Kitchen was older, but serviceable. Bathroom has been updated. We spent most of our time out on the balcony enjoying the gorgeous view. Patio table and chairs were very comfortable. Elevator and luggage carts provided easy transfer of our personal belongings to and from the condo. Parking was convenient. Condo was close to everything in Carpinteria. We’ll definitely be back!

The condo was exactly as described and just what we were looking for out of a long weekend stay. Communication before our trip was helpful and thorough. We were able to check ourselves in and out without issue and the location is great if you want to explore Carpinteria. You can't really beat a condo right on the beach within walking distance of many fab restaurants! The place was also stocked with plenty of towels, dishes, blankets, toiletries etc. to make our stay comfortable and fun. We had a great time and would definitely consider coming back!
