Canal-front house with private furnished patio - close to the beach & pier

We had such a wonderful stay at this Airbnb in Newport! The place was beautiful, clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing trip. The location was perfect for enjoying Newport and everything it has to offer. The host was friendly, responsive, and made the entire experience easy from start to finish. We truly enjoyed our stay and would absolutely recommend this Airbnb to anyone visiting Newport. We would happily stay here again!

This was our 2nd stay at this home. Clean, bright, great location and the backyard is amazing! My only complaint was early am construction a couple of the days but other than that, the property is excellent!

Wonderful stay! The apartment was even nicer than expected and worked perfectly for our bachelorette group of six.A few things to keep in mind: there is only one designated parking space, although my friends had no trouble finding street parking. The apartment does not have air conditioning, and while opening the windows helped, it still felt warm and stuffy at times. We also could not figure out how to run the master-bedroom fan with the light off, so we used a box fan instead.The high water outside occasionally reached the tiled patio, which made our feet wet and dirty when stepping outside. The management company also changed the week before our stay. The new team was responsive, though they did not know the answers to a couple of our questions.Check-in and checkout were easy, and very little cleaning was required. Overall, we had a great stay!

There listing has said laundry and there was no where to do laundry, it had rained a few days before and the patio was flooded so we were not able to use it half of the visit but then it was fixed for us.

We had a wonderful stay here over Christmas. The home was spotless, tidy, and the beds were very comfortable. The patio and view were the highlights, such a peaceful place to relax and enjoy the area. The neighborhood is quiet, walkable, and close to everything we needed. For Newport Beach, the price felt very reasonable as well. Overall, a great stay and we’d happily return.

Good location. Fun to be right on the canal. Walking distance to a bunch of restaurants. Comfortable when there is a cool ocean breeze, but with no air conditioning it would be very hot if the weather does not cooperate.

We only spent two nights but it was perfect for what we needed. It was pleasant sitting out on the deck. The beds and pillows were really comfortable! Close to the beach, easy two block walk. Having the canal out back was very nice too. We’d definitely stay there again if we have the opportunity.For those not used to the parking in the area it can be a little daunting but manageable.

The furnishings were very nice and added to the beachy ambiance. The beds were extremely comfortable and the bedding was luxurious! Our only issue was with parking and construction going on but it’s to be expected. We appreciated the many fans that were provided and a nice cross breeze made the home very comfortable. We would stay here again happily.

We especially loved the patio area with views of the canal -loved watching the paddle boarders and boats go by. The house was clean and comfortable, plenty of towels and nice bedding. Great location with easy walk to the beach, a park, restaurants & shops.

Garage is small and our full size car didn’t fit. Luckily there is street parking nearby. The apartment is clean and bed is comfortable with goose down covers. Very little shampoo and conditioner though

We really enjoyed our stay. Beds are super comfy, cute beach decor, new furniture, and the location is the best! The only negative was that the lovely home had trash cans on the back view deck with an overflowing trash bin and trash bags/boxes on the ground (from prior guests) which detracted from the cleanliness. Nevertheless, we focused on the beautiful water view and had a lot of fun there!

We loved the cute little cottage and the location. It was very clean and comfortable for six of us to stay in. The only downside, they were having a heat wave and there is no AC so it was a little warm.

Being on the water was SO relaxing. Kitchen had all the equipment we needed. Few spices, only salt, pepper, and one other, so if you plan to cook often you might consider bringing some along. The king-size bed was indeed comfortable, neither my spouse nor I had any complaints, which is saying something since at home we sleep on a sleep number bed with numbers about 40 apart -- this bed was somehow firm enough for me but soft enough for him to both sleep well. Yes, the furnishings are outdated and scratched up, as others noted, but then we didn't need to worry about accidentally leaving a mark on pristine furniture, so IMO a plus for families with kids. The blinds in the bedroom blocked enough of the light from the neighbor, leaving the room only somewhat brighter than if it had a nightlight, so this also wasn't an issue for us. The marked parking spot was small, so with the free upgrade we got on a rental car, the car was about a foot longer than the spot, and we did get complaints from the upstairs neighbor when it was too far forward and from a neighbor across the street when it was too far back. After the complaints we made sure it was only a few inches off in either direction, and got no more complaints. There is no central heat, and the space heater for the living room / dining room / kitchen area was inadequate. However, I texted the property manager, and we got an older space heater from the upstairs neighbor almost immediately, then a brand new unit from the property manager...

As soon as you walk in to the home, you feel the love the original owners had for it. It has a quaint charm that is perfect for a small family. Beds are comfortable, neighborhood is quiet which is a huge plus being in Newport during summer, and a quick walk to: a couple parks, donut/coffee shops, the market, and some yummy restaurants. It's also a short walk to the beach! It was short enough to shlep my children from the beach to the house for nap and potty times. We will definitely stay here again! The neighbors are also very nice and welcoming!

Nice neighborhood with tons of restaurants and shopping. Walked 3 short blocks to the beach. 24 hour laundromat a few blocks away. The house was comfortable and had everything you would need. Being on the canal was awesome. Overall the house was great, just a bit outdated but very clean.

We had a great time celebrating our one year anniversary at Vacasa's Blue Lagoon house in Newport Beach! Vacasa was great about responding to emails prior to our stay. We loved that we were able to do early check-in as well! There is no A/C, but it is easy enough to cool off with a quick walk to the beach. We would definitely book with Vacasa again!
