The house has a large private back yard. The fire pit did not work but the pool and spa were perfectly fine as is the neighborhood. Kitchen was well equipped. I have rented many home in the desert since I sold mine in 2008 due to buying a home in Florida but since I spend most of my time in CA I frequent the desert merely to relax and this house two decent sized guest rooms for a 1950 home The air conditioning was perfect and the owners have solid thick better than good quality towels I regret one issue is the mattress in the bedroom I used with the slider. It should be replaced as it has a massive divot on the right side and it’s not comfortable and with my assistant in the guest room he has no issues but the owner would do well to replace the mattress as it has seen better days and it was simply uncomfortable ACME has a responsive staff. And I am sure I would be happy to rent this house again once the mattress is replaced. Thank you for offering your home

Excellent accommodation - well appointed, great location with walks along the river 200 yards away and downtown within a mile. Yard is quiet, comfortable and was full of small birds in October. Thoughtful furnishings, for example charging stations in every room. Highly recommend. Be aware that the communication about Palm Springs ordinances about noise can seem heavy handed.

This was by far one of the best vacations we have had and the house was everything and more! We had a great stay in this beautiful palm spring house. The place is very confortable and very private. The pool is fantastic and the host took a great care of it. The house is clean, quiet and there are many board games and toys for the kids. The host was also very kind and permitted an extra hour for check out. Communication was efficient but a little slow later in the evening and missed a fresh bottle of water at arrival ( always welcome in boiling palm spring ) Other than that everything was perfect and we would definitely stay again. 10 Palms Just as Pictured

Our stay at 10 Palms was amazing! The home and pool were just as pictured! This home is located a quick drive from downtown Palm Springs and the airport. We've stayed at quite a few rentals in Palm Springs and this is among the best we've stayed in. The home was in immaculate condition like it was just staged for a showing! Communicating with ACME was terrific! They were always quick and professional with their responses. We really enjoyed our stay in this updated midcentury modern home. It was very clean and bright with fun pops of color in the kitchen and outside. Unfortunately, the Santa Ana’s were strong so we were unable to use the outdoor space, but it was clean and inviting. We couldn’t believe how stocked the house was! I was able to find a lint roller and bandaids, and there were a ton of games, super soakers, and pool floats. All the appliances worked very well and were immaculate! The location was ideal, as it was easy to get downtown and to the cities just south of Palm Springs proper. We’d definitely stay here again if we ever return to Palm Springs! Thank you!

This place total fit the brief. Provided comfort, privacy, heated pool (with a fee), a spa, and SUPER pet friendly. Walkable to downtown palm springs and so close to some great NYC-style bagels. The only thing to note about the place is that, YES, it is a 2BR 2BA...but neither are en-suites and the second BA is on the other end of the house away from the BRs. Not a big deal, just in case you missed it in the description. Still 5-stars.

A perfectly renovated Palm Springs house that was beautifully designed, spotless, and had all the amenities needed for a comfortable visit. Acme was very responsive and easy to communicate with. The house itself was lovely and the neighborhood is very cute. Be aware though, that Palm Springs has incredibly strict restrictions on short term rentals. They were good at communicating that, but it was communicated A LOT…almost too much. However, because of these restrictions it was a very peaceful neighborhood.

50th birthday getaway

Stayed here a week with my girlfriends for my 50th birthday getaway. We had everything we needed during our stay and it was close to everything. I loved the house and didn’t want to leave, as I’m a huge midcentury modern fan who loves colorful decor. The host was so thoughtful and even left me a giant birthday card and bottle of wine to enjoy with the girls. They were also very responsive when the hot tub jets weren’t working properly. One thing I’d recommend is that they update the outdoor furniture, as it’s a little worn from the desert heat/sun. Also, when we rinsed off the patio with the hose, the paint was washing away. It just needs to be removed and repainted. Overall, it was a memorable week and I highly recommend booking this Airbnb for your Palm Springs vacation.

Girls weekend

Stayed here for a girls weekend and it was above and beyond. Beautiful decor, and it was stocked with everything we could think of. We made several meals and the kitchen had everything we needed — blenders, pans, pots, cooking sheets, oil, salt, pepper — honestly this and so much more! The pool and outdoor space was fantastic. It was nearby to restaurants and coffee shops. I would honestly book this place again!

Desert Orchid Retreat is AMAZING

What a beautiful home the Desert Orchid Retreat is! We shared this house to celebrate my mom’s birthday and it was the perfect spot! Not only was the home a beautiful oasis with a modern, colorful Palm Springs flare, it was also incredibly clean and very well stocked. The home sleeps 6+ very comfortably! There was nothing this mid-century beauty didn’t have! They even had a few pool toys located behind the home, a bonus to ensure your sun bathing is a good time! The location of the home is very convenient, about 6-9 minutes away from all the things we enjoy in Palm Springs: the design district with Trina Turk and SHAG, great restaurants like 849 and Sherman’s Deli! We drove a little further out to eat at the stylish Pink Cabana (highly recommend) and the drive was not bad at all, about 30 minutes, but who notices with that “Summer Wind” blowing. Though the house was beautiful, and we truly enjoyed every minute we spent in the resort-like home, there are a few points I just want to include to give the opportunity for small improvements. While the QR code was helpful with house information, the photos and instructions need to be updated for this specific home. We did have some trouble with a few key amenities, like the fireplace and spa functions. Neither would turn on, even after reaching out to ACME, who tried to assist us but to no avail, a disappointment considering the fireplace area was absolutely stunning! Great location for Coachella weekend

great location for Coachella weekend, extremely easy access from airport and to downtown Palm Springs. Condo community was well maintained with friendly neighbors. The host condo was immaculate and had all the amenities needed to feel right at home. Definitely recommend!! *it is a second story condo with a flight of steps. Not a problem for us, but just a heads up for those who may need accessibility assistance.

Late Christmas Gathering for Family

My family all live in Washington and Oregon. I told them I would rent a place for the family to gather. It was the best Christmas gift I could have given. Memories rather than "stuff".

We really loved this place!

We really loved this place! There was such great amenities and attention to detail…who knew there were that many kitchen appliances in orange?! There was even a claw grabber to pick fresh oranges off the tree! The remodel was really nice and everything was super clean and comfortable. We had issues with WiFi and they were very responsive and fixed it within an hour or two. Location was safe and an easy drive, but not walkable to anything. Pack a bit lighter it’s a little bit of a walk from the parking garage and up a flight of steps with no elevator.

The Pink Door house was perfect.

The Pink Door house was perfect. Acme took care of us every step of the way. The house provided us with so many options for entertainment. Croquet to bocce along with pool and hot tub for our outdoor fun. Grill outside with a great bar for enjoying a BBQ?? Our guests loved the location which is close to so much. We definitely would stay at Pink Door house again and would trust Acme. Anyone that stays here is in for a great time me!

Very clean and comfortable

The apartment was very clean and comfortable. Orange is the theme! when we had a question, the response was quick and proactive. A couple of comments (which should suggest how wonderful the accommodations were): 1) A map of the back way to the entrance and of the parking space would have been appreciated on day one. 2) The tool for picking oranges off the tree next to the deck required more dexterity than I had. (Still, it was fun trying.) 3) The long combinations for the gate and door take time to memorize. We would stay there again without hesitation!

The orange decor was hilarious, funky, and fun. We loved that even the cooking utensils, sponges, and towels were orange. The orange picker that was in the laundry room was a real plus as well, being able to pick off juicy oranges from the orange tree from the balcony was something special. The place was clean, instructions were clear, and the master bedroom had really nice closet space, and good black-out curtains. There are two decks, which is nice. The only downsides were: - At least while I was there, Jan 2024, there was a high pitched loud barking dog in the house next to the master bedroom. It definitely woke me up several times despite me having a noise machine. - The pillows were not very comfortable - The instructions to get to the exact room could have been clearer (we walked around to a bunch of rooms before we found it) - The shower had a couple times where it didn't get hot

Relaxing Getaway

What a lovely place for a relaxing weekend getaway to Palm Springs! The property was impeccably maintained, comfortable and well appointed, with an immaculate private backyard and pool. Everything was exactly as described, and we had excellent service with Acme throughout the reservation, check in and check out process. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The home is updated, functional, and nicely appointed with modern appliances. The swimming pool, hot tub, and back yard in general are all very well maintained. ACME was helpful and responded to text communication promptly. All in all an excellent mini vacation. Looking forward to our next stay. As a side note, P. Springs has noise ordinances pertaining to outdoor speakers or just noise in general. We actually enjoyed this as it ensures a quiet and peaceful experience relaxing around the pool and hot tub.

The house was immaculate

The house was immaculate, and smelled very clean upon entry. The location is perfection as it is very close to downtown, restaurants, shopping and street fairs. We were able to Uber anywhere for less than $10. I cannot say enough about the backyard. It is your own personal oasis. The pool and sauna were very easy to work, very convenient, very private and relaxing. Air conditioning works great and the host thought of all the small conveniences that you would have at home. We had a really good time and we will go back to this location when visiting Palm Springs in the future. Communication with the host was smooth and easy….. we give this place a 5 star overall recommendation.
