Casago SoCal manages short-term and vacation rentals in eleven California markets. We handle listing and pricing, guest communication, housekeeping and inspections between stays, maintenance, and owner statements. Each market has its own local team, so the people caring for your home live near it.
Owning a rental is a small business with a night shift. Someone has to answer the phone when the air conditioning quits at ten, get a cleaner into the house between a late checkout and an early check-in, and keep the nightly rate honest against what the rest of the market is doing that week. That is the work we take off your desk.
We are locally owned and operated, and part of the Casago network. That combination is the point: the booking distribution and systems of a national brand behind a team you can meet in person.
Each market page covers the local team, the season pattern where you are, and the short-term rental rules that apply. Start with the market your home sits in.

The city of Palm Springs: mid-century neighborhoods, pool homes and a downtown guests can walk. A season that runs fall through spring, plus city requirements on guest check-in and noise that the local team handles.

Palm Desert, La Quinta, Indian Wells, Indio and Coachella. Golf and tennis season, festival weekends at the polo grounds in Indio, and short-term rental rules that differ from one city to the next.

Newport Beach, Laguna, San Clemente, Dana Point and the Anaheim corridor. Beach houses, harbor condos and homes near the theme parks, in cities whose rental rules differ sharply from one another.

Carpinteria, Montecito, the Ventura waterfront and Oxnard's Channel Islands harbor. Strong summer and early-fall demand, and some of the tighter permitting on the South Coast.

Pismo Beach, Avila Beach, Cayucos, Morro Bay and Paso Robles. Beach towns and wine country in the same market, with demand that leans heavily on weekends and holidays.

Cabins in the San Bernardino Mountains above the Inland Empire. Snow weekends and summer lake season carry the year, and winter road conditions decide how turnovers get scheduled.

A pine and granite arts village in the San Jacintos. Cabins within walking distance of town, quiet midweek and busy on weekends, with a guest who is usually there to slow down.

Joshua Tree, Yucca Valley, Twentynine Palms and Landers. Design-driven desert homes near the park, where the guest experience rests on systems that hold up in a hard climate.

Wine country tasting rooms, balloon mornings and a walkable Old Town. Weekend and event driven demand, in a county where getting the permitting right is the first job.

Manhattan Beach, Hermosa, Redondo, Venice and Malibu. Some of the strictest short-term rental rules in the state, which makes local knowledge of registration the deciding factor.

Coastal homes around Monterey Bay. Strong summer and event weekends, and several cities that restrict short-term rentals, so permitting is the first conversation we have.
Full-service management, which means the day-to-day belongs to us and the decisions that cost real money still belong to you.
Photography, listing copy, and placement on the major booking channels plus direct booking on this site. One calendar sits behind all of it, so the same night is never sold twice.
Pricing set against real demand in your market and adjusted for season, day of week, and what is happening in town that weekend.
Inquiries, booking questions, arrival instructions, and anything that comes up mid-stay, handled by our team instead of landing back on you.
Turnover cleaning between stays and a walk-through before each arrival, done by people who know what your house is supposed to look like.
Routine upkeep and vendor coordination, with a response when something fails during a stay. Larger repairs come to you for approval first.
A monthly statement showing bookings, revenue and expenses, and payouts on a set schedule so you can plan around them.
Help with permits, registration and renewals, and with the city and county requirements that apply to your specific address.
Listing setup, photography, linens and supplies, and the first round of pricing before your home goes live.
The numbers
Casago consistently outperforms market averages across the key revenue metrics. Here is what that means for your property.
Source: 2025 and 2026 KeyData, a third-party vacation rental analytics provider. Figures are portfolio-wide Casago performance against market averages, not a projection for any individual home. Your own property analysis will be built on your address, your comp set, and your calendar.
Each of our eleven California markets has staff living in it: a local owner or general manager, housekeepers, inspectors and maintenance techs. Your home is not run from a call center three states away. When a guest reports a problem, the person who responds has been inside the house.
Local also means local rules. Short-term rental ordinances in California are written city by city and they change often. Permit caps, registration, occupancy limits, parking and noise standards can differ between neighboring towns, and the team in your market follows the ones that apply to your address.
It matters operationally too. Mountain turnovers depend on road conditions in winter. Desert homes live and die by whether the pool equipment and the air conditioning hold up in summer. Coastal homes take salt air on every exterior surface. A team that works in one place all year knows what fails there and when.

Success stories
★★★★★
“I managed my Palm Desert rental myself for three years and thought I was doing fine. Then I saw the revenue increase in my first season with Casago — 30% higher while I spent zero time on management. My biggest regret is waiting so long to make the switch.”
★★★★★
“My previous management company treated my La Quinta home like an afterthought. I would wait days for responses to emails. With Casago, I have a local manager who actually picks up the phone. The communication alone is worth the switch — the revenue increase is just a bonus.”
★★★★★
“Buying my first investment property was nerve-wracking enough. I had no idea how to actually run it as a vacation rental. Casago walked me through everything — permits, furnishing, pricing, launch. They made what felt impossible feel easy. First year revenue exceeded projections by 15%.”
Management fees vary by market and by home, so we quote them per property instead of publishing one number here. Ask for a proposal and you get a figure written against your address, your bedroom count and the season pattern where you are, along with what the fee covers and anything billed separately.
We do not publish revenue projections on this page either. Anyone quoting a number for a home they have not seen is guessing. What we will do is pull comparable homes near you, show you what they actually book through the year, and be straight with you if we think the home is a weak fit for short-term rental or if your city's rules make it impractical.
Seasonality is real and it is different in every market on this page. Desert homes earn through the cool months and go quiet in the summer heat. Mountain homes ride snow weekends and the summer lake season. Coastal homes peak in summer and early fall, after the gray May and June mornings burn off. A good plan accounts for the slow months rather than pretending they are not there.
Your next step
Call (866) 365-2221 or send a note through the contact page. The first conversation is about the property and what you want from it: how often you plan to use it yourself, how much wear you can live with, and whether short-term rental is the right use at all.
If it is, we look at the home, review the rules in your city, and put a written proposal in front of you. No pressure to sign it in the room.
Pick your market and you will reach the team that would actually run your home, with a proposal request that routes straight to them.
Management fees vary by market and by home, so we quote them per property rather than publishing a single rate. Your written proposal states the fee, what it covers, and any costs billed separately, before you sign anything. Call (866) 365-2221 and we will walk through it with you.
Eleven: Palm Springs, the Coachella Valley towns of Palm Desert, La Quinta, Indian Wells, Indio and Coachella, Orange County, Santa Barbara with Ventura and Oxnard, the Central Coast, Lake Arrowhead with Crestline and Twin Peaks, Idyllwild, Joshua Tree and the High Desert, Temecula, Los Angeles with Malibu and the South Bay, and Monterey with Carmel and Santa Cruz. Each one has its own local team.
Yes. Owners block the dates they want for personal use and we work the calendar around them. Block your peak weeks as early as you can, since those are the dates guests book first and the ones your home earns the most on.
We help with them. California short-term rental rules are set city by city and county by county, and some cities cap permits or prohibit rentals in parts of town. Your local team knows the ordinance where your home sits and assists with registration and renewals, though the permit itself is issued to you as the owner.
Our local team responds. Routine fixes are handled by staff or by a vendor we already work with in that market, so nobody is searching for a plumber at midnight. Larger repairs come to you for approval first, and the work and its cost appear on your owner statement.
Not every home is. Zoning, HOA rules, city permit caps, parking and layout all matter, and some properties do better as long-term rentals. We would rather tell you that during the first conversation than sign you into a program that will not work for your house.
